AAFBR Award Sponsorship 2016 Each year, the American Advertising Awards recognizes some of the best creative work in the country. A three-tiered creative competition, entrants must first compete on a local level through an affiliated AAF chapter. Work awarded a gold or silver at the local competition can advance to the second tier, the AAF District 7 competition. Recipients of gold and silver awards at this level can advance on to the national competition, where winners are presented at the national AAF convention each year.
In order to be eligible for this year’s American Advertising Awards, all work must have first appeared in the media between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015. All work must have been the result of paid creative and placed media services, with the exception of Public Service Advertising, Advertising for the Arts, or Advertising Self Promotion. All work should be entered in the local DMA that the work was created in, not necessarily where the work ran.
Please Note: Work cannot be entered in multiple local American Advertising Awards shows. In the event that a client also has a local AAF affiliate club in their market, the work should be entered in the Awards at the location where it was created.
