The 2013 AAF-BR Student Conference: “Standing on the Shoulders of GIANTS” is an annual conference put on by the American Advertising Federation of Baton Rouge for communication and design students in the Baton Rouge area. This year’s conference will be taking place this Saturday, March 2nd at LSU and will cover all aspects of the advertising industry to prepare students for their career. Speakers include local professionals as well as Glenn Griffin, author of ”The Creative Process Illustrated.” The conference will close with a portfolio review, so get your resumes and portfolios ready! $15.00 in advance, $20.00 at the door. We will be kicking off the weekend with a studio tour and networking reception hosted by Xdesign Friday night. Students will have the opportunity to network with other students, professionals, and the keynote presenters the evening before the 2013 AAF-BR Student Conference. The event is free.
