DESCRIPTION:Last luncheon before summer break \nCome join us to hear the future of advertising\, LSU’s NSAC team\, as they present their entry in the National Student Advertising Competition! Each year\, LSU advertising students compete in the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC)\, with over 100 schools around the country to execute a full advertising campaign for a national client. The student teams “pitch” their campaign to a panel of judges. We invite you to join us to celebrate our local advertising students and their pitch. \nWe’ll be presenting the Ralph Sims Award – Honoring Lifetime Achievement in Advertising Education\, and the Rising Star Award – a new member within their first 2 years who has shown active involvement in club activities\, and set a shining example for other members. The winner of the AAF-BR Student Scholarship will also be announced.

DESCRIPTION:Join industry professionals and members from AAF District 7 (Baton Rouge & New Orleans) and AAF District 10 (Shreveport-Bossier) for a unified day of advocacy at the Louisiana State Capitol. \nThis collaboration bring together voices from across the state to speak directly with legislators and advocate for the advertising industry’s value and Impact. \nWe will meet at 10:00 am at the River Center Branch Library in downtown Baton Rouge. The morning will consist of a brief introduction and practice sessions in preparation. There will be a discussion panel at noon with lunch provided. The remainder of the afternoon will be spent at the capitol speaking directly to legislators. \nREGISTER HERE
