Associate Media Planner/Media Planner will assist our leaders in developing integrated media strategies and executing efficient online and offline media plans. We are looking for someone who loves media strategy and communicating with their key audiences in the most effective way possible.


Candidates must have at least 2 years of media experience, including working within paid social platforms, ad serving platforms, programmatic media, and have had exposure to both digital and traditional media plans.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Pulls media-related research at the request of the Media Planner/Sup/AMD
Assists in the distribution and collection of media RFPs. Evaluates proposals from the perspective of completion (templates completed, presentations submitted in requested formats, etc.) and works w/ vendors to ensure that these requirements are met
Assists in the creation of client-facing media plan presentations and flowcharts
Creates, distributes, and files vendor insertion orders
Builds campaigns in ad server, programmatic, and/or paid social self-serve platforms
Creates and distributes digital tracking URLs for proper campaign delivery and performance tracking
Approves digital vendor invoices for assigned account(s) based on performance and delivery data
Updates media presentations and/or flowcharts to reflect optimizations and budget shifts. Maintain an organized tracking system for these changes
Evaluates media vendors (both proactively and in response to vendor cold calls/emails) and coordinates vendor meetings with relevant media team members
Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communications
2-4 years of traditional and digital media experience
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including firm understanding of media math, performance metrics, and budgeting fundamentals
Ability to deal with large volumes of numerical data
Established client presentation skills and professional written communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities and prioritization abilities
Proficient in ad servers, preferably Sizmek, as well as paid social self-serve platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Digital platform certifications, such as Facebook Blueprint and Google Ads, preferred but not required
