Job Description

SchoolMint is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and curious marketeer to join the marketing team and contribute to the scale of the business. In this position you will report directly to the Director of Marketing and will be working closely with sales, marketing, and product departments to drive GTM plans and product launches, and ensure consistent messaging across the company and market.

What You Will Do:

You will: 

  • Use market knowledge and research to build integrated marketing campaigns
  • Develop product messaging that differentiates SchoolMint from others in the market
  • Maintain and manage competitive intelligence and comparisons by working with cross-functional stakeholders and executing self-lead research
  • Communicate campaigns and activities across departments
  • Build relationships with customers post-sale and identify and execute on opportunities to share and highlight strong implementations
  • Position other SchoolMint products in cross and upsell opportunities
  • Identify ongoing insights that help optimize marketing programs
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our product
  • Develop and implement promotional activities such as promotions and product launches
  • Use market research to guide targeted lead gen campaigns
  • Create, manage, and update sales enablement tools including overview docs, product walkthroughs, case studies, videos, website content, RFPs, proposals etc…
  • Gain insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas
  • Measure and optimize the buyer journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage

About You:

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B Product marketing
  • MA in Marketing, Communications or similar relevant field
  • Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Creative individual with an incredible ability to understand and present product value—which will guide internal teams and company messaging with flawless execution
  • Extra points for experience driving product marketing initiatives for SaaS products, features and services (Bonus)
  • Extra points for experience  in product marketing for a SaaS product (Bonus)
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Extra points for experience in the K-12 edu space
