The American Advertising Federation District 7 hosted its annual ADDY® Awards show in Baton Rouge on Friday, April 15th at The Thirteenth Gate. The ADDY® Awards recognize and award outstanding creativity in the advertising field. The awards show was part of the 2011 AAF District 7 Convention hosted in Baton Rouge from April 14-17, 2011.
Located in the Eastern Region of the AAF, the 7th District is one of AAF’s largest districts in both geographic and membership size. District 7 encompasses five states with 23 advertising clubs and federations representing more than 3,000 advertising professionals. Today, District 7 is considered to be one of AAF’s most innovative and progressive districts.
The AAF-Baton Rouge chapter produced a total of 15 regional ADDY award winning entries, including 6 professional gold ADDYs and 4 professional silver ADDYs. Advertising students were recognized with two gold ADDYs and 3 silver ADDYs. Top award winners by category were:
