AAF-BR is searching for talented volunteers to help 10/31 Consortium, a Baton Rouge area nonprofit organization, re-brand their annual Fifolet Festival and re-position how the community views them. 10/31 Consortium is committed to serving their community through the fun and creativity of Halloween traditions and folklore. The Fifolet (fee-foh-lay) is part of Cajun folklore – a magical and mischievous blue flame that appears deep in the Louisiana swamp. To help us achieve this goal, we need logo designers, social media specialists, PR pros, brand managers, copywriters and media buyers. Calling all Students...It's time to Level Up! This year's event is Saturday, March 28th from 9am-2:30pm at Holliday Forum in the LSU Manship School of Mass Communications. We'll begin the day with breakout panels with industry professionals, followed by our keynote speaker, Lauren Culbertson of BBDO-Atlanta, and the day culminates with portfolio reviews and resume roundtables. Tickets are only $5 in advance and $10 at the door! Breakfast and lunch will be provided. You do not have to be an LSU student to attend this event.  Professionals, sign up HERE to help our students practice their interview skills and to provide feedback on their portfolios/resumes.
